Birds along coastal Alabama Gulf Coast

Fall is for the birds. Seriously.
Did you know that one of the best places for birdwatching is along Coastal Alabama and the Mobile Bay Area? October 4-7 the 14th Annual Alabama Coastal BirdFest will be occurring in our area. It’s a great time to migrate to the coast and enjoy a quick beach getaway!

Birders know the Alabama Gulf Coast is a prime spot to see birds during the fall migration. Since 2004, BirdFest has attracted visitors from more than 27 states and Canada —many returning again and again. For both experienced birders and those new to birding, BirdFest offers more than 30 expertly guided tours, evening events, dinners, workshops, and the free, family-friendly Bird & Conservation Expo. BirdFest is a birding and nature festival featuring trips that highlight local and migrating birds, wildflowers, alligators, dolphins, and other creatures that share our world.

See the Gulf Coast from a different angle! Come for the long Columbus Day weekend for an Orange Beach vacation and stay at the condos at Seachase Resort. Spend time at the beach, take part in bird watching and experience local ecology. Seachase is a perfect place to make your home base for all the weekend events. It’s also a great place to relax, soak in sweeping views of the Gulf and enjoy the incredible fall weather on the Gulf Coast!
