There’s still time to make last-minute plans for your weekend Orange Beach vacation at SeaChase! Join us for the Interstate Mullet Toss (it sounds crazy and kind of weird, but read on and see what it’s all about!).

The Interstate Mullet Toss is always held the last full weekend in April. The Interstate Mullet Toss and Gulf Coast’s Greatest Beach Party is legendary. What started as just a reason to party has become one of the biggest beach parties on the coast. Those who participate in the Mullet Toss will throw a dead mullet over the state line of Florida and Alabama to see who gets the farthest. Not to mention it’s a great excuse to throw a weekend long party, with lots of fun activities, great music and food! Each year, with your help, we raise and contribute over $20,000 to local charities, especially youth organizations. The event begins Friday at noon, and Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. Celebrity tossers are at high noon Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Parking is $10 per car and lots will be manned by local charities and youth sport groups. Shuttles at $5 per head will be running non-stop starting 7a.m. on F. – Sun. Pick up spots are the Publix parking lot in Orange Beach and the Winn-Dixie lot in Perdido Key.

If you miss the Mullet Toss at the end of April, don’t worry because every weekend in the Spring and then all Summer, there are countless amazing things to do at Orange Beach and Gulf Shores! Book your Orange Beach condo at SeaChase to have your home-away-from-home for every event, festival, or just enjoying the Alabama Gulf Coast surf and sun!
